NEW! GHOST HUNTING 101 Course at Owen’s Community College
This course is designed to give you a deeper insight into the world of paranormal investigation. Essential characteristics of a paranormal investigation require a cautious approach backed up with scientific methodology. Learn best practices for ghost hunting, investigating, reviewing evidence and presenting evidence to your client. Learn from real professional paranormal investigator Harold St. John, founder of Toledo Ohio Ghost Hunters Society. We will study the different types of haunting’s, a typical case study of a “Haunting”, the essential investigating equipment, the investigation process and how to deal with the aftermath of an investigation. Students will learn by hands-on use of equipment, proper investigation documentation and safety protocols. The class will end with a field trip to hone the skills you have learned.

Urban Legend, Paranormal Fact or Fiction?
Urban Legend series 2016: TOGHS Director of youth Education Jake Stiger along with videographer Steven Klocko will be on the road again searching for the truth behind some of Northwest Ohio’s most popular reported haunting s. This series will follow two of TOGHS young investigators on twelve different haunted locations starting with the Holcomb Woods & finishing with the Gibb’s Bridge.
Camp Miakonda Camporee – Sylvania, Ohio February 13, 2016
The Northwest District is having their klondike weekend at historic Camp Miakonda. The theme for this year is Ghost busters. No rules for sled build, but it must support the theme. Challenges throughout Saturday with a Scouting twist. Webelos friendly events on Saturday along with being able to race. Ghost buster related skits and costumes for Saturday campfire. Followed by a Presentation & Ghost Hunt with The Toledo Ohio Ghost Hunters Society.

We will be having a T.O.G.H.S. public Meet and Greet the Team again in late Spring 2016 as part of our Ghost Hunt With The Pros program. Some of the topics we will be covering are SAFE Ghost Hunting, Evidence review, and types of hauntings. We will also be opening our vaults and dusting off never before seen evidence for your viewing pleasure! TOGHS Book Tour 2016
TOGHS will be releasing our first book late 2016 or early 2017! We are very excited with this opportunity to share with you some of our experiences over the last twenty years. This book will give our friends and families the chance to experience some of our investigations as we did during the actual investigations!

Private Residence – Toledo Complete
TOGHS will be investigating a private residence on 9/20/2014. We will alos be live tweeting, Instagram-ing, and Facebook-ing from the investigation, sharing real time photos and anything me capture.
Claims of activity include:
- Loud crashing noises
- Doors opening and closing
- Shadowy figures
- Child full body aparition
- Residents being held down
UPDATE: This home continued to experience activity, and we were able to capture several piece of evidence confirming the clients’ experiences. We has since preformed a House Cleansing and the clients are enjoying their newly peaceful home.
