Interest in the Paranormal: I have been interested in Metaphysical and Paranormal things since I was just a young kid. I have always felt that there has been “something else out there” but could never quite understand what is was. I have experienced some unexplainable things over the years and wanted to study deeper into the paranormal. I also enjoy Reiki energy healing work and talking with Angels.
I have known Butch Leon for many years, Together we formed TOGHS in 2005. As my Co-Founder he brings a lot of knowledge and skills to our group. Together we formed a very tight knit group of strong like minded people. We strive to become a serious part of the paranormal community.  I look forward to meeting people in need of our help and working with other groups in this field.

Interest in the Paranormal: I started to get interested while in my teen years. I’ve always liked to walk in the dark and mostly in cemeteries, I’ve always felt their was someone watching me. As I got older I started to look for answers. Knowing Harold for many years, and after talking about the Paranomral, one thing led to another thus TOGHS was form. I think we have a real good group of members that work hard at each investigation. E-mail lleon@bex.net

Interest in the Paranormal: I’ve known Harold for over 35 years, I remember the Euclid Ave home that he and his family lived in during the 1970’s. My interest in the Paranormal started during this time. One thing I remember most about this home was the sound of footsteps walking up and down the upstairs hallway all the time. Like most kids that believe they have a ghost, We tried to make contact by holding seances and the like. As we got older we took a more scientific approach to making contact or capturing paranormal activity. I have always been somewhat of a skeptic and still am to this day. I have been doing investigations with Harold for many years and try to help debunk or recreate the things that we cannot easily explain during our investigations. This doesn’t mean that we haven’t witnessed things that we can always explain by normal means. Do I believe in the paranormal? Absolutely, But I also believe that we should take every step to debunk or recreate the situation before stating so.

Interest in the Paranormal: My mom said my interest in the paranormal began around age five. I have been researching since I can remember, and have been desperate to get out into the field with people who share my passion. I have only had one paranormal experience of my own, but hope to have more in the future. It is a blessing to finally be with a group of people who “get” me and who have just as much of an interest in the paranormal as I do. I enjoy learning about all kinds of paranormal activity, along with the equipment that comes along with capturing evidence of it. I also love hearing everyone’s stories about what they have experienced. For me, it is just something that makes my heart beat.

Cody Ramm - Investigator

Interest in the Paranormal: I joined the group at the beginning of the summer 2009 in hopes of helping some people and uncovering mystery’s on the way. I have listened to Harold and Butch’s stories and wanted to explore the paranormal activities they have witnessed and help get to the bottom of the situation. As a young man I bring the technology perspective to the table.  I look forward to studying the activities of the spirits and catching some proof along the way. I am very optimistic and ready to meet new people and see new things.

Rebecca McClenathen - Investigator

Interest in the Paranormal: I joined the group in August 2009 out of pure curiosity, a desire to visit historic locations, and to spend time with family who belong to TOGHS. I have since been involved in a couple of investigations and find myself more intrigued than ever.  Growing up with Harold I shared his interest in the paranormal. The group has really impressed me with their knowledge, technical expertise and professionalism. I am really excited about future investigations.Email: rsinjun@hotmail.com

  1. Hello Harold, this is great! We lived in Republic for 10 years – never knew the story about the train. If you ever have any work in the Tiffin area let us know – Doug and I love this stuff. You once said you could feel spirits in our woods – if you ever want to investigate let us know. Hope all is well. Good luck! Ann Huth-Fretz
